Dr. Chrissann Ruehle recently defended her dissertation through the University of South Florida’s Doctorate of Business Administration (D.B.A.) program. Her dissertation title was “Understanding the Complex Ethical Landscape of Artificial Intelligence Adoptions”. Given the pervasiveness of this technology, today’s leaders need to recognize and consider the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence as they are planning its adoption.

She is currently a Management Instructor at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers where she teaches courses such as Business Ethics, Management Principles, and International Business. She has presented at international conferences such as the Academy of Management, Engaged Management Scholarship Conference, North American Case Research Association, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (A.C.B.S.P.), and the Marketing Management Educator’s Conferences. She was awarded the prestigious International Teaching Excellence Award from A.C.B.S.P. Prior to transitioning to academia, she worked for nineteen years in a variety of management, marketing, and consulting roles in the healthcare, technology, and non-profit sectors.
